Illusione Cigar

llusione Cigar is becoming one of the most popular cigars in the market. It is hand-made in the Raices Cubanas factory. Each Illusione Cigar is hand-made from the finest first gen. Corojo ’99, Criollo ’98 tobacco. They are then wrapped best CafĂ© Colorado wrappers in the world. In the old Cuban-style, they are finished up with triple cap. In fact, in 2007 Cigar Aficionado gave the Illusione cigars the 7th best cigar of the year - and that's quite an achievement for such a young brand. These cigars are all produced in small batches and production is limited.

Some of the best flavor profiles in the cigar industry hailed from older traditions and tastes. This was precisely the inspiration behind the Illusione. This small boutique brand was crafted from revitalized Somoza fields in Nicaragua. Before the Sandinists took control in 1979, these fields were producing some of the best tobacco in the world. These bold, clean flavors went away as the treasured Jalapa Valley and Esteli region fields were neglected. After finally being brought back to life, the Illusione proves that when the quality of a tobacco is as refined as this, it's worth a second chance.

Nub Habano Cigar

Sam Leccia and oliva family created the Nub Cigar line. Sam Leccia created “nubs”, after he learned how cigars are rolled in Esteli, Nicaragua from the Oliva Family, which is a concept that seeks to deliver only the most enjoyable part of the cigar.

A cigar finds its “sweet spot” at the 3 ½- 4 inch point it’s the theory which give idea for nubs. All "nub" cigars must exist within this window. No "nub" is longer than 4 inches.

The ring gauges range from 56-66 which is the further addition to this theory. The result is a range of smokes that have the same amount of tobacco as any Churchill or even Presidente. Unbelievably, they also smoke as long.

The Nub Habano Cigar is launched in three wrappers: Habano, Cameroon, and Connecticut. There are three sizes plus an additional size which is unique to each wrapper. The flavor range is from mild to full but always complex and hearty.

Rocky Patel Edge Lite Cigar

Rocky Patel is substantially famous for making full-bodied cigars, such as their Vintage lines of cigars and cigars marketed under their Indian Tabac brand name. Another RP line cigar titled "The Edge" is a cigar that is supposed to be so strong that beginners are discouraged from trying it. However, RP has made another version of "The Edge" famous as "The Edge Lite", which is promoted as having the same great flavors, but in a milder medium-strength cigar. He spend long, grueling hours making sure each cigar is being manufactured and created at only the highest level of excellence. In fact, he puts his cigars through rigorous tests of quality, making sure each line produces the best draw, burns evenly, and has consistent taste from cigar to cigar. Because he's so protective of his line, he only distributes to premier merchants which is why Emerson's is so honored to feature Rocky Patel's collection.

Flavor

The Edge Lite is a mild, creamy cigar that delivers rich flavor not immediately expected from a Connecticut wrappered cigar. Shade grown beneath the natural cloud cover of Ecuador, this cigar features a more complex and consistent smoke than the usual milder cigars on the market. The Edge Lite is impeccably constructed, leading to a perfect burn, smooth draw and long finish.

CAO Escaparate Habano Cigar

CAO is named after Cano (pronounced John-O) A. Ozgener, an Armenian Turk who began selling handcrafted humidors and meerschaum pipes in Nashville, Tennessee. An engineer who originally designed a male female adapter to keep pipe stems from breaking, Cano began to sell antique boxes he had cedar lined in addition to his pipes. One thing led to another and CAO’s first attempt into the cigar making business was with a brand called Casa de Manuel that was a big flop. But undeterred, Cano tried again with what is now the CAO Black, and the rest is history.

CAO cigars were originally made by Don Douglas (blendmaster of all Bucanero cigars) in Costa Rica but in some jockeying for space with Tony Borhani of Bahia Cigars, operations eventually moved to the Torano factories in Nicaraguan and Honduras. The factories are split in half, some working for the Toranos, the others working for CAO.

The CAO Habano are part of the legendary and fabled CAO Escaparate Collection. Since 2004, over 400,000 cigar have been aging in this gigantic walk-in humidor at the CAO Headquarters in Nashville, TN. In this cigar vault are 11 assorted blends ranging in 6 sizes from corona, robusto, corona gorda, churchill, torpedo, and double corona.

Exclusive to Emerson's, is the CAO Habano. These cigars come in 50 count boxes called ruedas. They are medium-bodied, and use a rare Nicaraguan Habano wrapper.

Ashton VSG Cigar

The Ashton VSG (Virgin Sun Grown) is a very full bodied and flavorful cigar intended for the cigar connoisseur who enjoys a robust and potent smoke. The VSG is blended exclusively for Ashton by Carlos Fuente Jr. using 4 to 5 year old aged Dominican tobacco taken from the finest and most fertile plants. The distinct flavor of VSG comes from its wrapper grown on a private estate in Ecuador owned by the Oliva family where this wrapper leaf is grown for the Fuente Family exclusively for Ashton VSG.

Appearance :

The cigar is... gorgeous. The sun-grown wrapper is quite toothy and seems to radiate sunlight. The cap is expertly applied and the band looks really classy.

Flavor :

Pre-light, it exhales strong notes of coffee with an obvious sweetness due to the sun-grown wrapper. Once lit, the initial spiciness is nicely mixed with sweet vanilla flavors. As the spice mellows out, a whole array of flavors appears - nuts, roasted coffee, butter - with earthy undertones in the background. The bouquet is incredibly smooth but the smoke is definitely full-bodied.

Emerson’s Cigars also provides premium cigars at affordable prices.

Padron 1964 Anniversary Cigar

The Padron 1964 Anniversary Cigar is the rarest and hardest to find cigar in the world. It was launched in 1994 by one of the largest boutique cigar makers Padrons to celebrate and to commemorate their 30th anniversary. Padron family is one of the largest boutique cigar makers having a hardnosed commitment to quality. They work by limiting their cigar production each year where the Anniversary series represents the top tobacco from each year’s crop.

It is boxed pressed having a medium to full body with rich complex aromas. There are a number of flavors available. The flavor changes from the moment you light it up to the moment you put it down. They are classic where it is hard to believe the blend is only fifteen years old. If we talk about production then there are presently ten sizes. All of them are available in either a sun-grown natural wrapper or Maduro. The Maduro version is the most popular one.

Padron is proud of its seed-to-smoke, upright integrated operation, so the Anniversary blend is like all the rest of their cigars: an undisputed Nicaraguan Puro. The cigar is smooth, medium-bodied and flavorful. It starts up with Coffee cream and cedar. After an inch, it becomes more multifaceted, adding some sweetness and a silky aftertaste. The aroma is soft but nicely spiced, reminding a way of incense.

The mid-section is a little heavier which exhibits typical Nicaraguan acidic flavor on the sides of the tongue and back of the mouth. Cocoa notes are up front with some mild spice, keeping pace with a sweet woodsy aroma. The smoke surface is medium-bodied which remains very smooth.

The Exclusivo finishes up with a typically Maduro finale — coffee and chocolate with a marvelously creamy texture. This cigar lacks the third stage bitterness making a manifestation towards the band of most ordinary cigars. It is only at the very end is where there is some bitter sweetness.

Emerson’s Cigars is a leading name in the cigar industry that offers diverse range of fine, uniquely crafted cigars and cigar accessories from all over the world.
